Sara Rief is a Partner at Law Offices of Hanlon & Rief. She has spent her entire legal career in criminal defense practice predominately in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sara practices in both Federal and State courts and her practice includes all major felonies from homicides to white collar crimes. She has represented defendants in highly publicized cases and specializes in representing individuals who are facing their first criminal case. Sara is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel in the Northern District of California.
She is the past Secretary for the California Lawyers Association and Board Representative for the Criminal Law Section. She is the current Treasurer for the California Lawyers Foundation. Sara also is Chair of the Health and Wellness Committee for California Lawyers Association.
