This event brings together judges, attorneys, students, and community leaders for a day of golf, networking, and philanthropy in support of the Foundation’s mission.
Proceeds from the tournament support student scholarships and educational initiatives that provide meaningful opportunities for students pursuing undergraduate and legal studies and careers.
The California Lawyers Foundation is committed to advancing excellence in the legal profession. Through its scholarship programs and educational efforts, the Foundation helps prepare the next generation of legal professionals.

Sponsorship Policies
The Annual CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament sponsorships are subject to the following policies.
- The California Lawyers Foundation (CLF) and the CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament retain and exercise full control over the sponsored event as well as all CLF and CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament materials. No sponsor may be permitted to control the content of the sponsored event, or any publications or materials produced by the CLF or the CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament.
- The identity or presence of the CLF and CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament must predominate and must never be compromised or confused by association with the sponsor. The CLF and CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament’s names and logos must not be used in conjunction with a sponsor’s product or service without the express written permission of the CLF. The CLF’s name and logo should never be used in such a manner as to express or imply an endorsement by the CLF or CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament of a sponsor’s product, publication, or service.
- Acknowledgment must not be so extensive as to suggest the sponsor “owns” or “controls” the sponsored event or CLF or CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament’s programs, products, or events. Additionally, descriptions of the relationship between a sponsor and the CLF or CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament must not imply endorsement of the sponsor. Words that imply endorsement, such as “exclusive,” “partner,” “preferred,” or “endorsed” must not be used in describing such relationships.
- The following or similar wording will be used for verbal acknowledgment:
The Annual CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament hosted by the CLF is presented with the generous support of ABC Company and the following additional sponsors.
ABC Company is a proud sponsor of the CLF’s Annual CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament.
- The exact parameters of signage, table-top exhibitions, and other visual material shall be determined by the CLF and the CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament in conjunction with sponsors, subject to the ultimate discretion of the CLF and the CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament.
- Sponsors may market sponsored events with the approval of the CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament.
- All sponsors, acknowledgments, and events are subject to approval in the sole discretion of the CLF and the CLF Classic Fairways to Justice Golf Tournament.
